It seems that you are using the nrpms repository which has been
discontinued for FC5 because mono has now been integrated. See
http://www.nrpms.net also for further information.

If you have installed the nrpms repository RPM's try to remove these
packages:

rpm -ev nrpms-release
rpm -ev nrpms-mono-release

If neither of this works remove the nrpms-repo files from the
/etc/yum.repos.d directory manually. After that the update should work
again.

BTW it is a pitty that pirut/pup do not show verbose error messages
about such failures.
