Thanks, Endymion. For some reason that didn't work for me.

What however worked for me was:

yum --enablerepo=livna-testing --enablerepo=updates-testing install kmod-nvidia-1.0.8178
yum --enablerepo=livna-testing --enablerepo=updates-testing install xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-1.0.8178
copy old xorg.conf to /etc/X11/xorg.conf
reboot to new kernel
