I've heard from several people that you just can't do it because of
different cluster sizes or something like that.
I use Red Hat Linux 9 and Windows XP on my laptop, no clue why XP is my
primary boot... *shrug* maybe you can.

Eh? I hate to admit this, but the laptop I'm typing this on has XP
installed on it (only there for testing ipod/itunes/gtkpod/libgpod
compatibility). It's running FC4 as well. What is it that's not
supposed to be possible about the setup I'm running?
