Below is the contents of my modprobe.conf file:
alias eth0 3c59x
alias snd-card-0 snd-cs4236
options snd-card-0 index=0
options snd-cs4236 index=0
remove snd-cs4236 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store 0 >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ;
}; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-cs4236
yet when I boot the sound module is not loaded. For a while I could
get the sound to work using modprobe snd-cs4236 but that has stopped
working. Now the modprobe.conf file looks right so I am mystified,
Anyone have any idea what to do?
