But if I remember correctly you need to modify /etc/X11/xorg.conf with the following lines: < Load "vnc" The line above goes in the Module section. < Option "SecurityTypes" "VncAuth" < Option "UserPasswdVerifier" "VncAuth" < Option "PasswordFile" "/root/.vnc/passwd" Put the three lines above in the Screen section. I believe you need to run vncpasswd as root to setup the password that will be used. Then use vncviewer to connect to display 0 - machinename:0 If you check the vnc web site I think they have the same info there. Pretty easy to setup.
