I don't know if it is normal, but my FC4-FC5 upgrade that I started at about noon still wasn't done at 5:15. It did complete successfully and I think everything worked. Now I'm doing the yum update, which adds even more time.

It does seem like an awfully long time. I guess if that's what it takes to do it right, I won't complain.
