autofs and CDROM in FC5 on an X-less machine

In FC4 and before, I used to use autofs for automatic
mount/umount of my CDROM drive.

In FC5 I've tried the same setup:

auto.master:

/misc /etc/auto.misc --timeout=15

auto.misc:

cd -fstype=iso9660,ro,nosuid,nodev :/dev/cdrom

When I cd to /misc/cd, the CD is automatically mounted.

However, in FC5, if I cd away from /misc/cd, the CD
is never unmounted.

There's some activity on the CDROM drive LED that indicates
that something is accessing the drive sometimes.

The machine does not run X.

How do I make this work correctly?
