First of all, it has a hard time with certain hardware configurations,
particularly related to video. The suggestion that using the 'nofb' option
will help this is not accurate. By the way. Fedora Core 4.0 (which is the
one I used) does allow an 'everything' install. The configuration tools
don't seem to be that useful, either. I think SUSE with the KDE desktop is
awesome for a "full desktop" install, but I also boot Knoppix from my HD
because I like look and feel of it. Fedora works, but it is becoming the
red-headed step-child of Linux distributions!

Hmm, can you provide us with some reasons as to why you don't like Fedora,
besides the fact that there isn't a install everything option?
