I tried to install FC5 using the NFS method by copying the Fedora directory from the installation DVD as I read in the README in the DVD root. But this is not sufficient: I had to copy the directory

too from the DVD root to the target server into the same directory whereto I copied the Fedora directory.

Otherwise anaconda stops the FC5 install/update with a "repodata not found" error message.

This README could certainly do with an update. It hasn't been necessary to "explode" the contents of the ISOs for NFS installs for a long time now - you can just point the installer at an NFS share directory containing the ISOs themselves.
