Hi, it seems that yum ignores proxy settings on FC5: [jwi@stujwi ~]$ set | grep proxy http_proxy=http://httpprox.software-ag.de:8080/ https_proxy=http://sslprox.software-ag.de:443/ As you can see, the proxy settings are there. [jwi@stujwi ~]$ wget http://fedora.redhat.com/ --10:56:55-- http://fedora.redhat.com/ => `index.html' Resolving httpprox.software-ag.de... 10.20.40.6, 10.20.40.5 Connecting to httpprox.software-ag.de|10.20.40.6|:8080... connected. Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK Length: 5,074 (5.0K) [text/html] 10:56:55 (200.76 KB/s) - `index.html' saved [5074/5074] As you can see, they are also working. But yum ignores them. As tcpdump shows me, it attempts to contact HTTP servers directly. Is this a known problem and what can I do?
