Hardware RAID controllers will present the array as single SCSI disc,
looking just like the above. To find out whether a RAID controller or an
ordinary SCSI controller is used the file /var/log/dmesg can be
consulted. It usually also talks about the type of RAID, and the size of
the disk(s).
