yum update hanging on db4-4.3.27-5.fc4.i386

It appears that this morning's manual
   "yum update"
is hanging.
It reported that it would update to
   db4-devel-4.3.27-5.fc4
   db4-4.3.27-5.fc4
   db4-utils-4.3.27-5.fc4
It passed the transaction test; the last few lines showing are:

Transaction Test Succeeded
Running Transaction
  Updating   : db4                ##################### [1/6]

Then nothing more.  Has anyone else seen this?  How do I
back out of this without hosing the system?
