Using the initdb option on a working system is not a good idea. What
it does is create a new, empty RPM database. I hope you backed up
the database before trying to fix the problem.

Well as it is, I'm just going to blow it away. I really wanted to fix
it, but I just don't have the time for it unfortunately. Thanks for the
