I have the same issue as this. I submitted a bug report but it still isn't fixed in the Core distribution.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=177384 As of last night it still is happening.I can make an image using k3b and then burn that to the DVD with no problems using the same files/directories.
