A quick search for " amarok +linux +mp3 +codec" yielded about 98000 results. Although I do not use amarok (yet) there likely is an answer in that list. Just for fun, I installed amarok, but found it is unable to play anything for me (I tried mp3, wav, and CD but all failed). Digging into the settings now. HTH Jeff
