I mentioned this problem a couple of weeks ago. I've found these lines in the logs: Mar 7 22:07:32 david automount[20579]: >> /usr/sbin/showmount: can't get address for .directory Mar 7 22:07:32 david automount[20579]: lookup(program): lookup for .directory failed Mar 7 22:07:32 david automount[20579]: failed to mount /net/.directory Do they suggest the cause of the problem?
