I am about to do some rebuild/upgrade on a box that has been using the 
on-board VT6102 [Rhine-II] interface, which claims to be 100MB/s.  That box 
has always had a much slower ethernet connection than any of the others.  Has 
anyone else any experience of using this interface?

I'm debating whether to switch it out and install a card.
