I have four FC4 machines on my desk -- one main one, a special-purpose one, and a couple of backitter-uppiters. On a hunch and a hope, I tried "yum install galeon" on one. To my surprise and delight, it worked! And the Galeon it installed (2.0.0) also works, and looks even better than when I had it before dependency hell. So I naturally went right to the other three, and commanded the same. It worked on two, giving me a total of three galeon-capable machines. On the fourth, however, I get only : [root@localhost ~]# yum install galeon Setting up Install Process Setting up repositories updates-released 100% |=========================| 951 B 00:00 extras 100% |=========================| 1.1 kB 00:00 base 100% |=========================| 1.1 kB 00:00 Reading repository metadata in from local files Excluding Packages in global exclude list Finished Parsing package install arguments No Match for argument: galeon Nothing to do You have new mail in /var/spool/mail/root [root@localhost ~] I looked through man yum, and took to poking around repos.d -- but couldn't see what to change. I took a look at the extras file and the updates file there, both on the problem machine and on one of the ones that got galeon; everything has enabled=1 So what do I need to do? -- Beartooth Staffwright, Neo-Redneck Linux Convert FC4; Pine 4.64, Pan 0.14.2.91; Privoxy 3.0.3; CXO 5.0.1 Dillo 0.8.5, Opera 8.51, Firefox 1.0.7, Epiphany 1.6.5 Remember I have little idea what I am talking about.
