You skipped the first step: "Make sure you are using my yum configuration."

NTFS support is not included any any standard Fedora repo and requires a
third-party repo.


Mike would also be better off looking at the FC2 version of the FAQ
rather than the FC4 version:

I have no particular need to mount my NTFS partition, in any case.
