Hello list,
there is a nice graphical tool for merging partly different files,
called
mgdiff (somtimes also known as xdiff). However, I cannot find
something
like that in FC 4. Does anyone know, where I can find an rpm for FC 4?
You might want to try meld, which is in Extras.
Not really, mgdiff is much easier to use ;-)
With mgdiff (opened with two files) you can first select all diffs in
one file, and afterwards you can, by simlpy clicking with the mouse,
decide how to merge the different sections to one file.
However, thanks!
Try this one I made this morning then:
http://www.city-fan.org/ftp/contrib/misc/mgdiff-1.0-1.fc4.i386.rpm
Paul.
May I ask where you located the source? Didn't this use to be an X11R4
(?) demo program? Is this still the same one?
