Hi, Recent updates were a disaster for X, at least for me, and it looks like many more. Installing module-init-tools-3.2-0.pre9.0.FC4.1 helped my ATI machine. But now I cannot log in from another machine (XP - Xming via XDMCP). I get the normal fedora login screen. I enter user/pw and it sits there for exactly 3 minutes, 30 seconds, and then back to the login screen. /var/log/messages has a "gdm(pam_unix) session opened", and 3:30 later, a "gdm_slave_xioerror_handler: Fatal X error - Restarting <ip>". While the login screen is shown, there are 3 clients connected. One from gdm-binary, 2 from gdmgreeter. I noticed an authd update--it did not help.
