Hi, I try to use an IOMEGA REV ATAPI drive (35 Go disks) on an FC3 or FC4. The drive is seen like a CD-ROM drive and not a tape. I can make a partition on a disk with fdisk, but the write of the table of partitions fails. Anyone has an idea of how I can write data on this "f...." drive ? Any help would be appreciated Best regards
A couple of years ago, I successfully played with one of these drives. In essence, the problem was that, as it was seen as a CD-ROM-drive, you could not mount it RW. By playing with udf-tools and rrd I got it working. Especially, the udftools were helpful.
