Are you suggesting that I try to lose my IP address and then obtain a new one using the new card? I've switched back and forth between the two machines many times (I don't know for how long though) and never lost my IP number.

I tried stopping the iptables service once or twice but that didn't help. There's also nothing in the 'DENY' policies. Would it need to be explicitly 'ACCEPT'ed?

The problem may be with Comcast provisioning. They installed a "support" program on my PC when I first connected and when I stopped that process I had to go through the provisioning process again. I just want to make sure the problem isn't on my end before I call Comcast.
