Hello, Can you check the '/etc' directory to see if there is a 'modprobe.conf' file. On our FC2 system it has modprobe.conf and no 'modules.conf' file. I can't remember when the name was changed from modules.conf to modprobe.conf but it must have been before FC2. If no modprobe.conf file exists then can you create a link to it from the modules.conf file and test restarting the network again.
