FC4 on small box

I host my web site on my oldest box:
   125mb memory, 400mHz speed, 18gb disk.
Needless to say, my traffic is very low.

I have been running it with a minimal RH-E-WS-4,
installed with no GUI. I have had no problem until
recently, when I have seen a few spinlock panics.
The major change that may be related to this is
the addition of a complex libipq daemon servicing
iptables -j QUEUE.

I now plan to replace the operating system with FC4
in a correspondingly simple configuration. I will
then get the latest updates with yum. I have
two questions:

1 - Is there any reason that I should not do this?

2 - Might it help with the spinlock panics?

Thanks for your advice.

Mike.
