Yeah - I solved it by directing stuff from that bounce address to
/dev/null. I don't care if he's silly enough to have let his mailbox
fill up. But it may be he's abandoned it. An appropriate TPTB should
remove his subscription when TPTB gets time. (I do realize they have
"real" work to do. {^_-})

Every time I reply to an email to this list I get the following email.
My email seems to get through.
This happens only when I email this list.
It doesn't happen on any other list that I am on.
