There are packaged drivers for this kernel available at

http://atrpms.net/dist/fc4/nvidia-graphics/

If you have ATrpms enabled you can simply do

yum install nvidia-graphics8178 nvidia-graphics8178-kmdl-`uname -r`

and mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf.nvidia to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
