The RPMs that are available do "drop in" without too much trouble, but be
aware that you'll have to run the vmware-config.pl after every kernel update
- in order to compile the module.  Depending on the version of vmware you
install, you might need to use the vmware-any-any utility that's out there -
find it with a Google search.
