They do two completely different things.  dhclient is a DHCP client, configuring
dynamic network settings from a DHCP server.  ddclient is a DynDNS client
updating dynamic DNS entries for dyndns.  They are related; you could use
ddclient to tell dyndns about the dynamic IP address assigned by your ISP with
DHCP and dhclient.
