I have just installed Fedora CR4 on my IBM Thinkpad T20. Everything is
OK except the display resolution will not go higher than 800x600. And I
know this machine can do better than that. It has S3 Savage / IX for
video. What should I do?

Play with your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Have a read of it and modify the resolution lines as required.
