network problem with connection to pages.

Hi,

I have a small issue with my internet connection. Speed is fine (can reach the
maximum as supplied by ISP, which is about 600kB/s) but internet pages often
are slow and fail to connect. My browser often replies with an unknown host
message.
I've checked MTU values because I thought this might be the root cause and
their all set to 1500 on my hardware router and my network cards. I'm not
100% sure whether it's correct though. I tried a windows only tool to check
and it mentions that I should set MTU value to 1500.

Does anyone have more tips on what I can check ?

Regards,
Marcel
