Hi,
done this but some time ago. I've used the info in http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_core_4_installation_notes.html 
Be carefull to verify the name resolution (must be know also in the outside word), the domain etc.

Configure sendmail to use a real domain name instead of
localhost.localdomain.
