Try the following: 1. Uninstall the FC4 Eclipse. (Check that there is no /usr/bin/eclipse) 2. Install the Sun SDK 1.5.0 (not the RPM!) into /opt/jdk1.5.0 3. Make a link of /opt/jdk1.5.0/bin/java to /usr/local/bin 4. Install eclipse from www.eclipse.org into /opt/eclipse 5. Check that /usr/local/bin is at the front of the PATH 6.
