Can anyone help me on this??! Looks like there is filesystem corruption, harmless or bad, and you need to run fsck on that filesystem. IIRC you will need to boot into recovery mode from your install CD1 and fsck it from in there. Type linux rescue at the prompt that comes up after CD1 boots. -Andy
