I just decided to speed up my PC a bit with an SATA drive, and am havingproblems with reliably booting. The PC is an MSI K8 motherboard with aMaxtor 120GB SATA. Yes, the PC is a lot faster, but I get a kernelpanic about 1/3 of the time when I boot. Any ideas?
