after the machine has been booted in Linux
for a while?

Mogens

here is the output
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0C:76:E3:21:A0
inet adr:157.159.15.227 Bcast:157.159.15.255 Masque:255.255.255.0

here is the result of a ping for this machine

157.159.15.227 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 129/72/44%, min/avg/max = 0.28/1.06/7.99

it s really strange thing
i don't know what to thing about that.
all the machine on the lab loose packets
157.159.15.225 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 130/90/30%, min/avg/max = 0.27/1.27/13.3

157.159.15.233 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 128/104/18%, min/avg/max = 0.27/1.45/10.7
157.159.15.234 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 128/128/0%, min/avg/max = 0.28/1.06/9.72

157.159.15.236 : xmt/rcv/%loss = 129/129/0%, min/avg/max = 0.29/1.16/11.7
