Yes, I have restarted cups, and no it is not a network printer. I have a partial success now, after going throught the /etc/cupsd.conf file and allowing the browse option, setting the proper net mask to use for broadcasts I can now see the printer automagically appear in the client machines. But when I try to print from a client this shows up in the clients error_log "Unable to get printer status (client-error-forbidden)!" Thanks for you assistance so far.
