Sorry to reply to my own message. My keyboard
went out to lunch and I sent what I had before
trying to fix it.
The rpm.out file is rather large, and shows many missing parts.
Some seem pretty innocuous, but others I don't know about.
Several of the files are marked as "?" which isn't mentioned in
the man page.
Here's the continuation of that...
The "several" is 112 files.
115 files have size changes
Of course, not all changes mean anything.
etc.
But I'm really concerned about those dependency lists
being -1. Most of the "missing" stuff may be explainable
by the fact that I ran not as root.
Come to think of it, perhaps that's the main problem.
I'll re-run and get back to you.
