Okay, so you are infact having trouble getting XMMS to load?

How are you trying to execute the XMMS binary? Via Shell, or X menu?

SynSyn:

Infact, I am having trouble getting XMMS to work.
I am exeduting the XMMS binary neither via Shell, nor X menu. I mean, ater entering on the SHOUTcast web site, I just click on the radio I am interested in and, after that, XMMS is louched normaly (by using the button "open with xmms").  Ok. XMMS is louched, but it DIDN'T start playing the music.
That is my problem.
Thanks!
Hoffmann
