is your device covered by that module, e.g. does it exist? (/dev/....)

is the modem switched on?

if its a pci onboard something, try lspci
if its an usb (i dont know if fc has that script) try: lsusb
if its pcmcia.... lspcmcia

if the device doesnt exist,  but everything is connected, try makedevices or mkdevices or whats it called these days...

Hi all,

I try to use an ISDN connection on FC4 or RHEL4.

When I use the command : isdnctrl addif ippp0, I've got the error 'can't open /dev/isdnctrl : no such device'

It worked on RedHat9
