Problem mod'ing partition table on install of Core 4.

When I go to install Core 4 on a new box with one 250G SATA drive I get an error before I try to load all the RPMs. I succeed at specifying the partition table but then the failure happens

"Error informing the kernel about modifications to partition /dev/sda3. Device or resource busy."

I know it's a known bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=109987

But I was wondering if there's a workaround. I'm sort of stuck here.

Also, is there a way to access fdisk from the install?

TIA
