Well, it's not just that, but that the private installation of firefox
will still need to point to the global installation of java.  I get
around this by symlinking /opt/java to /opt/jdk_1.5.0_05 and then
using "/opt/java" everywhere I need to point to the installation
(that's not version specific).  If I upgrade java, I can change the
symlink and it's "upgraded" everywhere at once.
