Steps one and do can be done a lot easier (IMHO) if you have fedora-rpmdevtools from fedora-extras installed. Just do a fedora-buildrpmtree to create a ~/.rpmmacros, ~/rpmbuild and the dirs below that one. HTH Cu thl
