I've got FC4 running on two PE850's and it's working great! The install was flawless, but I should note that I net boot everything and install from the network. After installation I run some burn-in stuff that I wrote, all is good! Setup NFS and Samba and haven't thought about it since. HTH, -brian Brian D. Hi, I'd like to know if anybody installed Core 4 on a PowerEdge 850? Does it install without problems when I use the regular Core 4 CDs or do I need special drivers? I saw that Core 3 had driver problems on that machine with SATA controller and network....
