I already tried wading thru the HP site, and HP support wont tell me. Is there any way to determine whether a particular printer has PostScript?
print to it with the generic ps driver, if you get garbage it's not a postscript printer. Or if you look at the notes for each pritner in system-config-printer you'll find a description of each printer (that's listed)
