Don't forget to change the grub.conf file. Change the root and kernel lines accordingly (pointing to the right disk and partition). If you're /boot to a stand-alone partition, you need to reflect that in the grub conf file. There's a nice article about doing all this in the latest Tux Magazine issue (http://www.tuxmagazine.com).
