Have you tried installing all WiFi related packages?

Hi all,
I have an Acer Ferrari 4000 which has 2 hard buttons at the front, one
for bluetooth and one for WiFi. The bluetooth one works fine (that is I
press it, the LED lights up blue and the bluetooth service activates)
but the WiFi button does not. When I press it I would like the WiFi LEAD
to light up and the WiFi service/module loading to activate. Right now
nothing happens other than these messages in /var/log/messages:
[press button for the first time]
Nov 27 18:19:49 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated
set 2, code 0xd5 on isa0060/serio0).
Nov 27 18:19:49 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e055 <keycode>'
to make it known.
Nov 27 18:19:49 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated
set 2, code 0xd5 on isa0060/serio0).
Nov 27 18:19:49 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e055 <keycode>'
to make it known.
[press button again]
Nov 27 18:19:52 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key pressed (translated
set 2, code 0xd6 on isa0060/serio0).
Nov 27 18:19:52 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e056 <keycode>'
to make it known.
Nov 27 18:19:52 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Unknown key released (translated
set 2, code 0xd6 on isa0060/serio0).
Nov 27 18:19:52 speedy kernel: atkbd.c: Use 'setkeycodes e056 <keycode>'
to make it known.
Anyone have any tips/hints how I configure this?
Thanks and regards,
Patrick
