Re: kernel panic

I am having the same problem, I tried typing in Garbage at the boot prompt and that works great until I use yum to update the system and it gets the latest kernel update then I get a kernel panic on boot everytime.

You will get an error about not being able to find kernel image garbage.

Try hitting enter after you get that error and see if it boots up then.
