See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=152170.

A workaround is set no_timer_check as bott option.

The clock when linux is running is running about double time. That is a
sleep 30 completes in 15 seconds. This in both multi- and single- user
mode.

Tested in Single so that the APM, CPUSPEED and various other services
are not running.
I have also set the 'notsc' kernel parm tho this is NOT and SMP system.

Ideas?
Where do I look next.

Thanks
