I've a brand new HP Pavilion a1230n (AMD Athlon 64 3700+, 2.2GHz,) FC4 (w/ updates - kernel 2.6.13-1.1532_FC4) The clock when linux is running is running about double time. That is a sleep 30 completes in 15 seconds. This in both multi- and single- user mode. Tested in Single so that the APM, CPUSPEED and various other services are not running. I have also set the 'notsc' kernel parm tho this is NOT and SMP system. Ideas? Where do I look next. Thanks Bob
