I'm using APT-RPM for Fedora Core 4 and it works great. It seems quite fast compared to up2date and yum.
One feature that would be nice is the ability to view a changelog before upgrading a package. Is there a way to do this with apt-get or apt-cache or something? The only thing I can think of is downloading the .rpm file itself and querying it with 'rpm -q --changelog
packagename-0.1-1.i386.rpm'.
